Tecnidex: Long Life to Stone Fruit

Monilia and other postharvest fungi are no longer a problem! Peaches, nectarines, saturn peaches, flat nectarines, cherries and plums can be kept best, in cameras and in transit to their destination.

Broad spectrum fludioxonil-based fungicide, formulated as a suspention concentrate, licensed for various post-harvest treatments in different types of fruits, depending on the country where it is applied. Stone fruit, pome fruit , citrus , kiwi , litchi , mango , papaya, etc. are some of the fruits in which it can be applied.

It is natural, derived from pirrolnitrin (secreted by the soil bacterium Pseudomonas pyrrocinia). It has a unique mode of action. It prevents diseases caused by Penicillium sp., Monilia, Diplodia sp., Phomopsis sp.

• Very stable fungicide, very persistent, so it protects fruit longer.

Not likely to generate resistance in fungi, according to FRAC (Fungicide Resistance Action Committee) 

• Very important in resistance management strategy: no cross-resistance with other fungicides used in post harvest.

Excellent toxicological profile, classified by EPA (USA) as a fungicide of low toxicity (Reduced Risk).

Very high efficiency : 90-100 % under optimal conditions, which improves fruit quality and thus, consumer satisfaction.
