Fruit Logistica will participate in the World of Fresh Ideas The two-day event presents specialized information on the most important topics in the fresh fruit and vegetable sector and offers the opportunity to network with the main players in the sector. 5/19/2021
As we know, the FRUIT LOGISTICA SPECIAL EDITION face-to-face event, scheduled for the end of May, had to be canceled. FRUIT LOGISTICA will be held again in Berlin from February 9 to 11, 2022. However, the fruit and vegetable sector could not be left without the specialized topics of FRUIT LOGISTICA, nor with its well-known formats, such as the Trend Report or the European Statistics Handbook. For this reason, FRUIT LOGISTICA has decided to present itself as part of the World of Fresh Ideas, organized by its partner Fruitnet Media International. The two-day event presents specialized information on the most important topics in the fresh fruit and vegetable sector and offers the opportunity to network with the main players in the sector. In addition, those attending World of Fresh Ideas will be able to meet the FRUIT LOGISTICA team at the digital event. The Trend Report will be released on May 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pay particular attention to the impact of COVID-19 on the global fresh produce market. Expert feedback provides insight into the future for growers, suppliers, and retailers. The roundtable participants are: Mike Knowles and Chris White (Fruitnet, UK), Wayne Prowse (Fresh Intelligence Consulting, Australia), Jan Doldersum (Rijk Zwaan, The Netherlands) and Filip Fontaine (VLAM, Belgium). The Trend Report can be downloaded from the FRUIT LOGISTA website as of June 1, 2021. Hans-Christoph Behr, the author of the European Statistics Handbook, will shed light on various European markets and their development in several prominent market areas over the course of the two-day event. Among these conclusions, there will be an analysis on how consumer behavior has changed over the past year, what has happened in trade after Brexit in the United Kingdom will be studied and there will be a summary of how weather conditions have affected the supply of fruit and vegetables. The European Statistics Handbook can now be downloaded from the FRUIT LOGISTICA website. World of Fresh Ideas includes four knowledge categories packed with over 50 hours of interactive talks, interviews and discussions. The event provides specialized information from more than 100 leaders in the fresh produce retail market, import and export, production, logistics, packaging, technology and marketing. The Fresh Ideas category highlights the latest major developments in fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh Business provides attendees with the best in-depth analysis in the industry. The Fresh Tech category shows participants where technology is helping the market grow. Finally, the Fresh People category offers face-to-face interviews and recorded audio conversations with a wide and diverse range of people from the world of fruit and vegetables.
