Presence of Salmonella is detected on spring onions

The authorities of Netherlands has detected the presence of Salmonella on spring onions from Thailand

The Rapid Alert System of Food and Feed (RASFF) has informed that the Netherlands authorities have detected the presence of Salmonella spring onion originating from Thailand.

Since RASFF notified that alert, it was carried out an official control on the market. That product is distributed to other member countries.

The realized analysis determined the presence of 25g.
