Ser. mac presents Daytona Cherry, the new cherry processing solution Inspired by its experience in Chile, the Cesena company presents its new hi-tech user-friendly machine. 9/25/2015
Ser.mac, a Cesena-based market leader in the design, development and construction of systems and machines for fresh fruit and vegetable products, will be at Macfrut 2015 (stand B3 - 78-80/81-83) with a new hi-tech solution for the processing of cherries. It is called DAYTONA CHERRY and is the result of Ser.mac’s extensive experience in this sector, underlined by the commercial success of its previous models in the Southern Hemisphere, in countries with a significant cherry-growing tradition such as Chile. DAYTONA CHERRY is a compact high-capacity system (up to 700 kg per line an hour) that is particularly versatile because it comes in different versions with the aim of satisfying the different needs of producers. The new machine carries out all cherry processing activities in a single solution. After the machine is fed with the product that arrives from the orchard, it separates the stalks (with a hydraulic or mechanical system) and then proceeds to the phases of pre-sorting, calibration, external quality control, packaging and labelling for traceability. DAYTONA CHERRY, able to process 1800 fruits a minute, stands out for its excellent precision, sensitivity and reliability. Alongside the guarantee of a high quality product thanks to the electronics of the machine, all of this allows for a significant reduction in the amount of staff present on the production line. The entire system is also managed by a single and intuitive graphical interface developed with next-generation software and completely customisable by the user. As well as DAYTONA CHERRY, at Macfrut 2015 Ser.mac will also be presenting highly innovative and technological solutions for the processing of fruit, beginning with the CA.RO. 40, the two-channel machine specifically for roundish fruits and vegetables such as citrus fruits, apricots, apples, peaches, Williams pears, tomatoes, avocados, onions and others. CA.RO. 40 is a Ser.mac patent, designed and developed to maintain high standards of productivity. Comprising two conveyor belts, this one-of-a-kind machine allows for more complete rotations of the fruit. Through its product lines, Cesena-based Ser.mac consolidates its reputation in the area of the development of excellent machinery for agriculture. Since it was founded in the early 90s, Ser.mac has provided flexible, customised and hi-tech solutions tailored to the needs of its individual customers. The company’s dynamism, together with the quality of the assistance it provides and its genuine expertise in the software field, are the strengths that have seen Ser.mac grow in Italy and across the world, assuming the role of recognised leader in what is a highly competitive sector.
