The Rapid Alert System of Food and Feed (RASFF) has informed that the Bulgarian authorities have detected the presence of Oxamyl residues in sweet peppers originating from Egypt. Since RASFF notified that alert, these peppers were not yet in the market, so they were proceeded to be destroyed. The realized analysis determined the presence of 0,12ppm. However, the Maximun Residue Limits (MRLs) for this active matter are 0,01ppm.
