This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jambulat Hatuov at a meeting on the socio-economic situation and development prospects of the Republic of Adygea. The event, which took place in the Government House of the Republic, was attended by the head of Adygea Murat Kumpilov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Environment and other federal and regional authorities.

In accordance with the decision of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev was appointed curator of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Adygea by the federal government.

“The region has great potential, we see active growth in many industries. By the end of August, a “road map” will be prepared - a turn-based strategy for the development of the republic. I am sure that thanks to the efforts of local authorities and the support of the federal center, Adygea will be able to achieve all of its strategic goals,” Dzhambulat Hatuov emphasized.

Taking into account that in the structure of the region's GRP, the main place is occupied by agriculture and processing industry, the measures being developed will be directed primarily to the development of these sectors of the economy, trade with other regions of the country, as well as increasing the role of Adygea in increasing exports of agricultural products. In addition, the Ministry plans to give priority attention to supporting small businesses in the Republic, including small forms of rural management.

During the meeting, the dynamics of the development of key sectors of the regional economy: agriculture, industry, energy, infrastructure, road facilities were reviewed. A separate topic of the event was the discussion of investment projects in the field of tourism, the implementation of which can give impetus to the development of other sectors of the regional economy.
