Vladimir Putin, president of Russia, visiting a greenhouse located in a permafrost zone.

In Anadyr, Vladimir Putin inspected the Makatrov family's open all year round greenhouse complex and learned about its products from individual entrepreneur Natalya Makatrova, who explained to the president the activity carried out at these facilities.

The company resides in the priority development territory of Chukotka; the first stage was launched in 2017. Modern agriculture makes possible to grow vegetables in permafrost conditions and supply them, in particular, to nurseries and schools in the region. The new greenhouses are equipped with a weather station, climate control and automatic irrigation systems.

The "Living Green" greenhouse plant, created in 2017, is a highly efficient agricultural enterprise that occupies an important place in the structure of the regional economy. The company includes the cultivation of vegetables in protected soil. Today the Plant has greenhouses with a total area of 0.5 hectares and employs about 6 people. The product range includes more than 15 items: cucumbers, lettuce, various green crops and aromatic herbs.

In early spring, tulips of various varieties are grown at TPK, the harvest of which is harvested on the eve of March 8. TPK participates with its floral products in the landscaping of the streets of Anadyr. All this is the result of highly qualified specialists, the skill of vegetable growers, constant improvement of cultivation technology and agricultural technology, and the search for new varieties of vegetable crops. In their work, agronomists use the most advanced protected soil technologies to grow high-quality and environmentally friendly vegetables. With a short history of existence, TPK continues to constantly improve the quality and expand the range of vegetables produced: the Living-Green plant has been and remains a professional leader in its industry and a socially oriented company.
