The Irritec Group, headquartered in Italy, announces the acquisition of a majority stake in Agrifim de Colombia S.A.S., a pioneer in introducing drip irrigation technology in Colombia and a national leader with more than 45 years of experience manufacturing irrigation systems adapted to the country's productive situation.

With this acquisition, Irritec—one of the largest global manufacturers of localized irrigation solutions, present in more than 100 countries—consolidates its presence in Latin America and reaffirms its commitment to the development of sustainable and efficient agriculture.

The strategic plan includes the modernization and expansion of the Agrifim plant, along with new production lines for state-of-the-art equipment. This will optimize logistics costs, expand its offering, and reduce delivery times, guaranteeing Colombian farmers access to more efficient and affordable technological solutions.

The transaction will include the creation of a technology transfer and training center, promoting innovation in products adapted to local agriculture and generating skilled employment. “Investing in Colombia means investing in more efficient and resilient agriculture.
