Polish fruit and vegetable fair TSW to host conference on latest innovations in machinery The Machinery Conference is a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends and technologies supporting sustainable development and efficiency in horticultural production. 11/21/2024
During the 15th edition of the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair (TSW), one of the most important events in the horticultural industry in Central and Eastern Europe, taking place in Kielce, Poland, the Machinery Conference, dedicated to modern technologies in horticulture, will take place. The event, scheduled for the second day of the fair, on January 23, 2025, will bring together international experts and industry professionals to discuss innovations in the field of Horticulture 4.0 and 5.0, precision plant protection and autonomous agricultural machines. Participate in this unique event and get accreditation here The conference includes two main thematic sessions: SESSION 1: Remote sensing and implementation tools for precision plant protection In this part, participants will learn about the latest tools for crop condition monitoring and precision plant protection technologies. Speakers will include renowned specialists, including: Prof. Emilio Gil from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, who will speak about the possibilities of using satellite remote sensing in the optimal dosing of plant protection products, and Dr. Magdalena Szechyńska-Hebda from the Institute of Botany of the Polish Academy of Sciences, who will present spectral and thermal remote sensing techniques. SESSION 2: Robotics, autonomy, electromobility The second session will be dedicated to the future of autonomous machines in agriculture and innovations in the field of electromobility. They will share their knowledge with, among others: Prof. Paolo Gay from the University of Turin, who will speak about the impact of autonomous systems on horticultural production, and Prof. Dr. Łukasz Kaczmarek from the Lodz University of Technology, who will present innovative technologies related to hydrogen storage for fuel cells. The conference will conclude with a panel discussion, during which participants will be able to exchange experiences and views on the development of horticultural technology.
