Pending a land law, the deputies took up the subject of regulating the market for company shares. Jean-Bernard Sempastous has tabled a bill on behalf of the LREM group. This initiative is consistent with our manifesto of October 7, 2020. We welcome the collective awareness of parliamentarians and call for a broad consensus on the MP's proposal.

In October, within the framework of our manifesto "Our proposals for a policy of preservation and regulation of land", we noted a large number of abuses in the agricultural land market, such as the increasing use of members leading in particular to the concentration of holdings. These behaviors go against the imperative of generational renewal, which depends on facilitated access to land for young people.

We called for a renovation of the tools at our disposal to fight against these phenomena and adapt to changes in land markets. Our call has been heard. We support Jean-Bernard Sempastous' bill which, by virtue of its content and its timetable, seems relevant to us to quickly lead to a reform. In this sense, we hope that a consensus will allow the adoption of the bill.

Land regulation, necessary to allow the renewal of generations in agriculture and to preserve food sovereignty, must be the subject of a broad union across political divisions. We call on all deputies and senators invested in this subject to bring the parliamentary debate to life so that this initiative can materialize quickly. This bill is a first step which we hope will be adopted quickly. Let's all be there!
