De Sangosse acquires the agricultural activities of Algaenergy

The Spanish company based in Madrid has been developing, manufacturing, and marketing its products globally for over fifteen years. Thanks to several decades of major investments in Research and Development, the company has developed revolutionary cultivation processes. AlgaEnergy provides innovative, competitive, sustainable biostimulants, biofertilizers, and biocontrol products with demonstrated efficacy.

Each solution contains a combination and optimized proportion of different microalgae species, providing the essential elements for the physiological development of crops.

A new entity

In the context of this acquisition, DE SANGOSSE has established a new entity, AE AGROBIOGICALS, S.L., exclusively dedicated to the agricultural sector. Its purpose is to promote the biotechnological activities of microalgae conducted by AlgaEnergy S.A. worldwide. DE SANGOSSE will consolidate and enhance the development of industrial technologies and innovative products derived from this technology. The company is thus integrating nearly 100 employees specialized in this field of activity, including Research & Development, marketing, operation of production facilities, the international network of subsidiaries, technologies, patents and trademarks, as well as the customer portfolio that already provides satisfaction to over 4 million farmers worldwide.

It owns 9 subsidiaries in different countries, employs about 100 employees, operates in around twenty countries, and offers high value-added biological solutions based on microalgae to optimize agricultural yields sustainably in all types of crops and geographical areas.
