Inovcluster, the Agroindustrial Association of the Central Region of Portugal, which works in the promotion, development and transfer of knowledge of the agri-food sector, organizes the Digital AgriExport 4.0, which will take place from April 12 to 23, 2021. In the midst of a pandemic, with the impact of COVID-19 on the global market and the difficulty of face-to-face participation in international events, Inovcluster has organized this virtual action in order to promote Portuguese exports from the food sector. It will be two weeks of networking in which Portuguese companies will hold business meetings with importers from various international markets. This action is part of the AgriExport 4.0 project, which aims to increase the collective international recognition of the goods produced in the Portuguese agro-industrial sector, promoting the internationalization of SMEs through their collective promotion. The Digital AgriExport 4.0 will be carried out through an online platform specialized in virtual meetings. It will have the presence of representatives of the different categories of the Portuguese agri-food sector who will receive the visit of buyers from various international markets, with the aim of promoting their business in a unique and integrated. Importers who register in this action will be able to find producers from different sectors of the Portuguese agri-food industry dedicated to the production of fruits, vegetables, preserves, meat products, cheeses, wines, oils, snacks, as well as other high-quality products. With three weeks to go before the start of this digital mission, buyers from markets in which Portugal has great interest, such as Germany, Dubai, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland or Norway, among others, are already confirmed. The platform is now operational so that importers who want to learn more about the Portuguese agri-food offer can now formalize their registration for free to contact the Portuguese companies that are of interest to them and agree on the day and time to hold meetings with them. commercials, at agriexport.inovcluster.pt
