Lloyd Ltd new premises in Dumfries Family-owned New Holland dealership Lloyd Ltd celebrates 50th anniversary by moving to new extended premises in Dumfries. 7/17/2014

The winner of New Holland’s Large Dealer of the Year Award, Lloyd Ltd, has recently relocated to new premises in Dumfries to enhance its facilities and its network across the north of England and the Scottish Borders. The relocation marks a special year both for Lloyd Ltd and New Holland as they simultaneously celebrate Golden Jubilees – Lloyd Ltd for 50 years of business and New Holland for the 50th year of its flagship tractor plant in Basildon, Essex. Lloyd Ltd’s modern and expanded new outlet in Dumfries has opened at the Dumfries Enterprise Park on Tinwald Downs Road and replaces the smaller former premises on the Newbridge Industrial Estate. It employs a team of 30 people. The new site covers four acres and features a two-storey building incorporating a showroom, a large workshop, ramps and parts department. Completing the improved experience upstairs, is a large equestrian shop and a café, where visitors can relax. In the extensive showroom there is also a full-sized model cab for customers to experience a simulation of the benefits of New Holland’s satellite-guided Precision Land Management. The Dumfries facility is part of the company’s existing seven-strong network covering the region with outlets also at Carlisle, Penrith, Kelso, Newcastle, Bishop Auckland and Alnwick. Lloyd Ltd Dumfries’ Dealer Principal Stuart Dalton said: “We’re very happy with our new branch in Dumfries. It’s bigger, smarter, more modern, and lets us display our New Holland range much more clearly. “The most important measure of the new branch is feedback from customers and they’ve been very positive. It’s a much better environment to welcome people into and work in – I think it must be one of the best in the country!” Lloyd Ltd is a family-owned business which was founded in 1964 and over the decades has developed a strong reputation for professional experience and customer care.
