Other new products making their first appearance at the show include the top of the range 8600i self-propelled forage harvester – which has been shortlisted in the Technological category of the LAMMA 2015 Awards for Innovation competition sponsored by SSAB – the R4040i self-propelled sprayer, the 6215R Stage 4 tractor – equipped with new Bridgestone VT-Tractor tyres – and L1533 large square baler (more information here).
In addition, a CESAR marked Gator XUV 855D utility vehicle can be seen on the CESAR Scheme/Datatag ID stand (503 in Hall 5). From January 2015 all new Gators can be equipped with this nationally approved security and registration system as a factory-fit option.
CESAR is a proven deterrent against theft and an invaluable aid in the recovery of stolen vehicles; the system for Gators has exactly the same functionality as the established CESAR marking on the John Deere tractor range.
A series of product update talks are also being given on the stand by John Deere specialists throughout the show, featuring new FarmSight precision farming developments such as Wireless Data Transfer (WDT), Remote Display Access (RDA) and the MyJohnDeere.com website portal, as well as tractors, transmissions and fuel efficiency.

Other stand news includes:

John Deere is once again the machinery sponsor of Open Farm Sunday, which will be held on 7th June 2015 and celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Members of the Open Farm Sunday team are actively looking to recruit new host farmers on the John Deere stand.
John Deere and Michelin are looking for the best tractor driver in Europe. UK and Irish farmers and contractors can register online here to win a two-day trip to the Michelin test track in France and the chance to represent their country at the European Drivers Championship. The closing date for registration is 31st March 2015 – details are available on the stand.
John Deere is supporting the Nottingham Hospitals Charity, which is aiming to raise £3m to build a helipad at Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre. This will provide the most seriously injured trauma patients from across the East Midlands direct access to the hospital’s Major Trauma Centre by air ambulance. Recent statistics show that of all critically injured patients requiring transfer by air ambulance in the East Midlands, 38 per cent were as a result of agricultural and rural accidents. In addition to the usual charitable collections at all the show entrances, which will be contributing to the Nottingham Hospitals Charity along with the Air Ambulance, John Deere has a dedicated collection tin on its LAMMA stand.
