Effective January 1, 2018, Martin Eppinger was appointed Technical Director of Weidemann GmbH. The Weidemann Management Board therefore now consists of the long-standing Commercial Director, Bernd Apfelbeck, and Martin Eppinger, the new Technical Director, who has spent the last eighteen years in leadership positions at Wacker Neuson Group companies.

In his new role, Martin Eppinger will be responsible for research and development, strategic purchasing, production, materials management and quality management at agricultural equipment manufacturer Weidemann GmbH, as well as at Kramer-Werke GmbH, where he has already been a Managing Director for nine years.

The strategic aim here is to continue expanding the strong market position for wheel loaders, telescopic wheel loaders and telescopic handlers already carved out by the established Weidemann and Kramer brands at national and international level. In future, synergies between production and development facilities specializing in loading technology within the Wacker Neuson Group can thus also be harnessed more effectively, strengthening both brands. Product development will focus even more strongly on local customer and market requirements going forward, enabled in part through close dialog with dealers and users.
