The Association of Mango Exporters of Mexico (EMEX) will participate in the next edition of the Fruit Logistica fair, which will be held next May in Berlin (Germany). Fruit Logistica is one of the most important fairs in the world for the fruit and vegetable sector.

According to the President of EMEX, Engineer Jorge Armando Celis, “we are going to participate in Fruit Logistica 2021, as it is a very important fair and where the main mango buyers from the European Union meet, and it is strategic for our sector. For this reason, we are going to be present one more edition ”.

In addition, the head of EMEX has also pointed out that "despite the COVID 19 pandemic, the European Union market continues to be a priority for our industry, so we are going to focus our efforts on strengthening our presence in the aforementioned market, which is complementary for us to that of the United States ”.

Russia and the Middle East

In addition, Engineer Armando Celis has also pointed out that "we are also very interested in other markets, which are also very important for our exports, such as Russia and the Middle East, where we obviously want to have a greater presence in the short and medium term" .

Within the same context, the EMEX leader has also pointed out that “in the times of COVID that we have lived through, it is evident that we are establishing new strategies focused on better positioning ourselves both in the national market and in foreign markets, and we are going to work with greater intensity on important chapters such as digital marketing, promotion and communication ”.

Likewise, Engineer Armando Celis has also underlined that "2020 has been a difficult and complicated year marked by COVID 19, but we hope that in the next year, there will be an economic recovery worldwide and we can increase our export volumes in all the markets".
