Biobest presents the new Dyna-Mite G-System

Now is a great time to introduce Biobest's unique new Dyna-Mite® G-System to control thrips, whitefly and spider mite in cut roses.

2/5/2016

Already adopted by pioneering growers in the Netherlands, France, and Eastern Europe, Dyna-Mite® G-System contains Euseius gallicus - a fast-acting, voracious predatory mite protecting roses from the three main pests.
A strong and affordable first line of defense in cut rose crops, Dyna-Mite® G-System reduces the need for chemical intervention to a minimum.

The strategy relies on early release of the predatory mite and the use of Nutrimite™, a highly nourishing food supplement. By feeding E. gallicus before pests appear a strong protective population is established. When pest pressure increases, Nutrimite™ application can be stopped to let E. gallicus focus fully on the pest. This strategy is considerably more efficient, fast and reliable than the approach based on repetitive releases of predatory mites, disappearing each time after a couple of weeks.

Dyna-Mite® G-System is the only pedatory mite establishing well in roses. It allows early, rapid and strong colonization of the crop. Active at low temperature, Euseius gallicus needs just 10°C to establish, and protects the crop from early to late season. This predator even survives at temperatures down to 4°C. Feeding on a wide range of pests, E. gallicus eats both the eggs and young larvae of thrips, whitefly and spider mite.

Highly cost effective, the establishment of a strong preventative predatory mite population means frequent predatory mite releases are no longer necessary. This can reduce labour by more than 30%, even if extra Dyna-Mite® G-System release is required in the autumn to restore the population to the desired levels.

There is plenty to gain and nothing to lose, so act now and order Dyna-Mite® G-System right away!
