New Holland Agriculture held its first virtual European press conference on Tuesday to present its strategy and product offering for the first half of 2021. It is one of the three digital events that the brand will hold in February to maintain a constant dialogue with employees, dealers and journalists in these times in which the usual meeting occasions are limited by the restrictions of the Covid-19. The event is organized on a new platform that will offer a perfect experience to a large audience.

The event is titled “Let's get it done… all_ways” to express New Holland's decisive attitude and its ability to overcome all challenges - even in the current unprecedented situation we're going through.

Stable performance in tough times

Despite the recovery experienced in many countries in the second half of the year, the European agricultural machinery sector suffered a decline in annual sales volume in all segments. Given this situation, New Holland closed the year with a slight decrease in its global market share, maintaining its leadership position in markets such as Italy, Poland, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal and Ukraine.

Carlo Lambro, President of the New Holland Agriculture brand, said: “Globally, New Holland closed the year with a stable performance that confirms the strength of our brand. Our focus for 2021 will be to consolidate our vision as a Full Line brand. To this end, we will continue to develop our full line to deliver strong value propositions in each agricultural segment and continue to expand the scope and breadth of our Clean Energy Leader initiatives with new innovations and important collaborations. ”

Sean Lennon, New Holland Agriculture Vice President Europe, added: “In Europe, the first half of 2020 was particularly challenging, but New Holland took immediate steps to ensure the safety of its equipment and its dealer equipment and protect its sustainability. economical. We quickly implemented the measures - some of which are still in effect today - and established specific financial initiatives in different markets. In the second half of the year, the resilience of our sector was evident with the recovery of sales ”.

“In 2021, our strategic objective is to continue to establish our position as a 360 degree brand by reinforcing our role as a Full Line manufacturer that serves all its customers and satisfies all their needs, offering strong value propositions and exclusive and unmatched solutions. In the collection business, our goal is to increase our sales commensurate with the position that the technology and productivity of our products deserve. ”, He affirmed.

The “full line” brand constantly renews and expands its offer

New Holland is constantly investing in continuing to improve and expand its offering with new ranges, models and innovations, such as the products they addressed at the event, which will hit the markets in the first half of 2021: The methane-powered tractor will be delivered to selected customers from Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom and Benelux, with a view to its introduction into the New Holland range throughout the year.

Two important collaborations will bring new innovations in the specialty tractor sector: a new biomethane tractor prototype to be tested in the Fontanafredda vineyards, and an innovative concept for the electrification of implements for vineyards and orchards developed with the Italian manufacturer Nobili.

The CH7.70 Crossover Harvesting combines a huge leap forward in terms of technology and productivity, offering capacity and versatility unmatched in the mid-range combine market.

The new high-capacity BigBaler High Density Packer model, featuring three 3-prong packer forks, provides the same unprecedented performance as the award-winning Cutter version.

The T6.160 Dynamic Command 6-cylinder tractor is a true multi-tasker offering a unique combination of compact size, 6-cylinder engine and New Holland's exclusive dual-clutch technology.

Precision Agriculture solutions will be further expanded with new services within the MyPLM Connect portal, such as remote services that allow distributors to perform diagnostics and actions on the software remotely, as well as full AgDNA integration, which automatically displays key agronomic data to improve decision-making.

New Holland's attachment offering will also be expanded with new Maschio Gaspardo compact disc harrows and subsoilers and an SRC rear row cultivator for inter-row weeding.

New Holland wheel loaders have been further improved to offer additional savings and better experience for the user.

In the second half of the year, the firm will launch more products, expanding and improving the complete line of New Holland equipment.

Next appointment with New Holland: YOUNIVERSE, the virtual agricultural fair from April 9 to 18, 2021

New Holland is preparing other digital events to maintain regular contact with customers, dealers and journalists, starting with its participation in the YOUNIVERSE digital fair, where it will welcome visitors to its virtual stand. This will be the first agricultural machinery fair of its kind, organized on a new interactive platform that will take participants on a journey of discovery in a unique and fully immersive information and entertainment experience.
